A dynamic force in Pennsylvania politics for over 25 years, Dennis came to Bravo Group as a partner and government relations specialist, bringing with him a comprehensive understanding of public affairs and a vast network of contacts among key policymakers within the commonwealth.
Recognized by his peers as one of Harrisburg’s most effective lobbyists, Dennis has achieved a number of successes for a wide range of clients – from education to healthcare to technology and public utilities. Successes include securing millions of dollars in funding for arts and cultural clients as well as a children’s hospital, defeating the Oil Profits Tax and changing trust laws in Pennsylvania to protect corporate governance. He was instrumental in securing statutory approval for a 15-year tax abatement for a major economic development project, and changing the law to expand public notice requirements to include legal journals.
Dennis previously served as Secretary for Legislative Affairs for former Pennsylvania Governor Tom Ridge, acting as principal strategist on some of the most challenging issues facing the Legislature.
A key member of the governor's budget negotiation team, Dennis is recognized for his instrumental role developing financing plans for hundreds of civic projects throughout Pennsylvania, including professional sports stadiums in Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.
He also led the Governor's successful efforts on groundbreaking charter school legislation and reform of the state's workers' compensation system.
During his career, Dennis worked as manager of government affairs for the Greater Pittsburgh Chamber of Commerce, director of government affairs for the Insurance Federation of Pennsylvania and district manager of the National Association of Manufacturers.
Dennis is a member of the Board of Directors for the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC), the Pinnacle Health System and Pinnacle Hospital.
